Recycling Your TTC Battery
Both Flex-Force® and Hypercell™ batteries will require recycling.
Recycling companies dispose of the components of rechargeable batteries responsibly and properly, so that metals and other materials do not end up in streams and landfills. Here are some options for recycling:
Flex-Force batteries
- For batteries under 300 Watt-Hours (Models 88920, 88925, 88941 and 88950), you can find information and instructions in the Call2Recycle drop-off location locator.
- For batteries greater than 300 Watt-Hours (Models 88960, 88975, 88980, 66910 and 66912), you can find information and instructions in the Call2Recycle High Energy Battery drop-off location locator.
HyperCell batteries
- Many local solid waste districts host collection events for residents to drop off batteries.
- Practice the proper disposal of used batteries that power the devices in your home and machines. Knowing how to responsibly discard of household and rechargeable batteries helps protect the environment.
